The best and brightest in marketing, advertising and public relations were honored last night at the second annual Mashies

Mashable, the leading media company for the Connected Generation, announced last night at their award ceremony the winners of the 2014 Mashies, which recognizes exceptional creative thinking and problem solving in marketing across new media and digital platforms from 2014.

“We are in an exciting era for marketing and advertising, where marketers are choosing between creating a 6 hour commercial or a 6 second Vine, and where creativity is at an all-time high inspiring people around the world,” said Stacy Martinet, Chief Marketing Officer of Mashable. “The Mashies bring together some of the best and brightest in the industry to celebrate the work that comes to fruition when a good idea meets fantastic creative and a stellar product team. Congrats to all the 2014 winners!"

The second annual Mashies celebrated those campaigns that are on the forefront of the digital evolution and were divided into 24 categories, focusing on the use of digital platforms, such as best use of Twitter, best real-time marketing, best branded app, best YouTube channel and more.

The winners were honored last night at Gotham Hall in midtown Manhattan and were selected based on the originality, effectiveness, innovative use of digital platforms and tools, boldness, and strategy of their campaigns.
