Jennifer Keough Named a 2015 Woman Worth Watching
Seattle, Washington (PRWEB) November 06, 2014 -- The Garden City Group, Inc. (GCG), the country’s leading provider of legal administration services, is proud to announce that Jennifer Keough, the company’s chief operating officer and executive vice president, has been named a 2015 Woman Worth Watching by Profiles in Diversity Journal.
“This is our 13th year of producing our annual Women Worth Watching issue,” said James R. Rector, the founder, CEO & Publisher of Profiles in Diversity Journal. “Each year, we have been humbled by the achievements of the women we profile and inspired by the message they send to the next generation of achievers. We have also been proud to provide an award with such meaningful impact on the movement for gender equity in workforce leadership.” The 160 winners for 2015 represent corporations, government agencies, and nonprofits from across North America and Europe. Notably, since the Award’s inception in 2002, Women Worth Watching has featured nine women who have since assumed the role of CEO in Fortune 1000 organizations.
“Jennifer’s contributions to GCG have been immeasurable,” said David Isaac, GCG’s CEO. “She meets every challenge head on, and her commitment to excellence and client service is an example to all of us. I am very proud – and not at all surprised -- that she has been named a woman worth watching.”
Keough joined GCG in 2003 as a vice president and managing director of the company’s Seattle office, which she grew from three employees to more than 300 today. GCG’s Seattle office, a 50,000 square foot state-of-the-art LEED certified facility, now serves as the company’s West Coast Headquarters. Keough oversees all operations for GCG nationwide and also manages its Midwest Call & Processing Center in Ohio, its Chicago office and its Louisiana operations center. She has been integral to the company’s handling of hundreds of projects, including the General Motors Ignition Switch Defect Litigation, the $20 billion Gulf Coast Claims Facility, the $7.8 billion Deepwater Horizon Settlement Program, the $3.4 billion American Indian Trust settlement program – the largest ever settlement with the United States government – and the Engle v. RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co. trust administration.
“We at GCG have been watching Jennifer for more than a decade – and trying to keep up with her!” said Neil Zola, President of GCG. “She sets the bar for GCG, whether its business development, program design, project execution, or management. I couldn’t be more pleased by this recognition for her.”
“It’s really an honor to be included among this group of remarkable women, including representatives from many of GCG’s clients, who have had such an impact on their companies and their industries,” said Keough. “GCG is a great company with wonderful employees, each of whom contributes to its overall success.”
