RISC Networks to Launch Industry’s First Dedicated Amazon Web Services (AWS) Enterprise Assessment at AWS re:Invent in Las Vegas, NV
Asheville, NC (PRWEB) November 06, 2014 -- RISC Networks, a leading provider of cloud readiness and IT Infrastructure analytics, announced today the launch of its AWS Enterprise Assessment at AWS re:Invent next week in Las Vegas, NV. The RISC Networks AWS Enterprise Assessment is the industry’s first cloud-centric, comprehensive IT Assessment for enterprise organizations to help businesses conduct a thorough assessment prior to moving to Amazon Web Services (AWS). The assessment is designed to help IT leaders identify cloud opportunities within their environments, optimally price alternate workload environments, visualize and build dependency maps for application stacks.
RISC Networks will be demonstrating these capabilities at their AWS re:Invent booth K0 from the 11-13th of November, 2014. RISC Networks’ AWS Enterprise Assessment assists medium to large organizations with analyzing their existing IT infrastructures and identify issues such as End-of-Life servers and network equipment. In addition, the AWS Enterprise Assessment pinpoints scalability issues and performance problems that may be solved by migrating applications into the AWS cloud environment.
RISC Networks’ assessment collects and analyzes difficult to calculate parameters such as network utilization, and storage Input/Output (I/O). These parameters are used to build more cost effective configurations for AWS, but can also be compared against fifteen other cloud providers within the assessment.
“There are many tools on the market that enterprise organizations and SIs (Systems Integrators) use to help their clients make critical cloud decisions, these tools are all siloed and IT teams typically have to manage three to four at any given time. Our AWS Enterprise Assessment consolidates these functions, and provides a clear picture for IT organizations and SIs to leverage when making their cloud choices.” – said Jeremy Littlejohn, CEO RISC Networks.
With the release of RISC Networks’ AWS Enterprise Assessment, IT decision makers can now group workloads and visualize application dependencies. These workload groups are then automatically matched to AWS instances based on their usage profile providing clear pricing for an application or business service.
