Burch, George & Germany Law Firm Announces the “Friday Night Christmas Lights Sponsorship”
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (PRWEB) November 10, 2014 -- The law firm of Burch, George & Germany announces the “Friday Night Christmas Lights Sponsorship”. In the spirit of Christmas and Oklahoma football, Burch, George & Germany will award one deserving young athlete the gift of attending football camp next year and receiving new football gear.
People are asked to nominate their favorite young athlete to go to football camp. Perhaps you know a young player who has overcome challenges off the field and been an inspiration on the field, or someone who would greatly benefit from attending football camp, but can’t afford it.
Burch, George & Germany will pay up to $350 tuition for a youngster to attend an Oklahoma football camp that is acceptable to the winner and provide a gift card of $250 to purchase any needed football gear. To be eligible, the nominee must be entering grades 6-12 in the fall of 2015. Nominees cannot nominate themselves or someone in their immediate family.
Students can be nominated at: http://www.burch-george.com/oklahoma-football/friday-night-christmas-lights/.
Football camp can be either overnight or day camp based on the winner’s preferences. The deadline for nominations is Sunday, December 7, at 11:59 P.M CST. The winner will be chosen and announced on Tuesday, December 9, 2014.
The partners and staff of Burch, George and Germany thrive in their roles as civic leaders and role models for Oklahoma’s youth. Their team understands the role that football plays in the development of young men and is inspired by the teamwork, perseverance and integrity that are on display when young athletes take the field.
“Oklahomans take pride in their toughness and resiliency,” says Kelly George, a partner at Burch, George & Germany. “That tradition of toughness and overcoming adversity is why our state has produced so many great football players and teams. Whether playing youth football or competing at a higher level, football demands both mental and physical toughness to succeed.”
The team at Burch, George & Germany knows that football teaches many critical skills that help in personal and professional development both on and off the field, so they have also created a one-stop youth football site that is not only inspirational and easy to use but also genuinely beneficial. On the Oklahoma Football site, http://www.burch-george.com/oklahoma-football/its-a-lifestyle/, players can find sprints, drills and training tips to help improve performance on the field as well as critical information for use off the field, such as tricks on how to get noticed by college recruiters, information on eligibility and a list of current football camps.
“As Oklahomans, we believe that together we can conquer all things, and in that spirit, Burch, George & Germany supports the underdog,” partner Derek Burch says. “We want to empower players at every level to become the very best players, and ultimately the very best people they can be.”
