The rooftop system will be owned and maintained by Endura Energy under a 20-year rooftop lease agreement with the owner of the building. The building owner benefits by converting an under-utilized asset into a cash generating asset through a 20-year lease, while also participating in the production of renewable energy.
"We are extremely excited about this project, especially because we plan to own and operate it long term”, stated Cameron Steinman, President of Endura Energy. In addition to designing and developing the project, Endura Energy will now own and operate the project. “One of the advantages of working with Endura Energy is that our history as a project developer and owner allows us to approach our consultative service offerings with a level of experience that sets us apart from our peers in the service industry.”
The project will generate approximately 335,000 kWh of clean energy each year, equivalent to reducing approximately 225 tonnes of carbon emissions annually, or saving 23,000 gallons of gasoline.
