Steelwedge to Host First Annual S&OP Leadership Summit
Pleasanton, CA (PRWEB) November 06, 2014 -- Steelwedge, the leader in cloud sales and operations planning (S&OP) and demand planning solutions, today announced that it will host its first-ever S&OP Leadership Summit on November 12-13, 2014 at the Fairmont San Francisco. With the theme “Break Silos, Build Profits,” the event features speakers from Steelwedge customers Baker Hughes, HP, Lely and Republic Wireless, among others. Joining them on the agenda are S&OP pioneer Tom Wallace, Stanford University’s Blake Johnson, and KPMG’s Integrated Business Practice (IBP) leader Mark Levy.
The S&OP Leadership Summit will feature best-practice case study presentations led by customers, cross-industry and industry-specific panel discussions, a product roadmap overview, and the presentation of the first annual Tom Wallace S&OP Awards. The Tom Wallace Awards, created in 2014, honor a recipient company and an executive that demonstrate a commitment to operational excellence and relentless innovation in the science and art of S&OP.
Wallace will serve as the keynote speaker to kick off the event, reviewing 30 years of S&OP progress and adoption. Attendees will have numerous opportunities to network with peers, partners, and Steelwedge solution experts throughout the event.
“We are honored to host our customers, partners and some of the industry’s most distinguished and relevant thought leaders to discuss global manufacturing challenges and effective ways to leverage S&OP processes and technology,” said Andres Botero, Chief Marketing Officer at Steelwedge. “Our theme ‘Break Silos, Build Profits,’ denotes what Steelwedge works to achieve for our customers. The event speakers have all played a significant role in driving their organizations to remove organizational barriers and achieve top- and bottom-line benefits with the power of S&OP.”
