Following the success of last year's event on the evening of the 86th Academy Awards, Fame & Philanthropy will once again put forth fundraising efforts on Hollywood's most prestigious weekend. The event is produced by Fame And Philanthropy LLC, a Southern California-based company that coordinates events for existing and upstart charities.

Fame & Philanthropy announced plans today to produce the 2nd Annual Fame & Philanthropy event which will take place on the weekend of the 87th Annual Academy Awards.

Following the success of last year’s event on the evening of the 86th Academy Awards, Fame & Philanthropy will once again initiate fundraising efforts to culminate in an event on Hollywood’s most prestigious weekend. The 2014 gala featured a keynote speech by Oscar award winning director James Cameron and was attended by more than 1,000 guests. Celebrities in attendance included Charlize Theron, Sean Penn, Halle Berry, Tyrese Gibson, Paris Hilton, Gene Simmons, Ne-Yo among many others.

Fame & Philanthropy aligns itself with non-profit, charitable foundations that share the same value of “supporting philanthropic, humanitarian, and educational efforts worldwide”. Last year the event raised money for Charlize Theron’s Africa Outreach Project, Ne-Yo’s The Compound Foundation, The Jenesse Center, and Community Inspiring Today’s Youth (CITY). The event raised enough money for CITY (http://www.TCPYouth.org) to open their first office space and operate programs for a year.

“Helping organizations like CITY is the heart of Fame And Philanthropy’s focus and mission,” states Executive Producer of Fame & Philanthropy Ryan Long. "We strive to get the biggest names in Hollywood to lend their support to charity start ups that need the seed capital and attention for their organization to thrive.”

Fame & Philanthropy 2015 will continue Ryan Long's mission of combining the lure of Hollywood’s biggest night with the opportunity to provide much needed funding for both existing and upstart charities. Although many celebrities and influential individuals will be in attendance, the motivation for the event is one of service, contribution, and benefaction. This event will provide an environment for industry leaders to join together in common purpose, and deliver an historic weekend featuring some of Hollywood’s most accomplished.

Details will be announced soon. For more information on Fame & Philanthropy’s 2015 event taking place over the Academy Awards weekend, please visit http://www.fameandphilanthropy.com.
