Toyota of Killeen Giving Away 2,000 Turkeys to Military
(PRWEB) November 08, 2014 -- Toyota of Killeen is proud to announce that Turkeys for the Troops will take place at the First Baptist Church of Killeen on Saturday, November 22 where military families will receive a free turkey. Toyota of Killeen, Walmart, First Baptist Church of Killeen, KCEN, KWKT, KWTX, KXXV have partnered together to put on this event benefiting military personnel and their families the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
“This is just our small gesture of saying “thanks” for everything that our military does to protect our country,” said Paula Lohse, dealer principal of Toyota of Killeen.
Military families are invited to participate in Turkeys for the Troops on Saturday, November 22 from 8 am until the turkeys are all gone at First Baptist Church of Killeen. Military personnel must show a valid military ID to receive a free turkey. Everyone is encouraged to arrive early to guarantee receipt of one of the 2,000 turkeys available and there’s a limit one per household.
“We want to support our soldiers and their families in every way possible and thank them for their bravery and sacrifice. Not only do they defend our freedom and secure our safety, they go in harm’s way to defend us and innocent people around the world from deadly viruses and ruthless and cruel regimes.” said Lohse.
