Atlanta Transforms into City of Light on November 20 for 28th Annual “Beaujolais Nouveau”

French American Chamber of Commerce Atlanta hosts largest wine tasting in the Southeast, with world-traveled executive French chef.

FACC Atlanta will Celebrate and Raise a Toast to a French Tradition.

This annual celebration has become a famous highlight in Atlanta that blends the cultural, business and social components of the U.S. and France together.

The French American Chamber of Commerce (FACC) Atlanta Chapter will host the 28th annual “Beaujolais Nouveau” fundraising and tasting event on November 20th from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the InterContinental Buckhead. The Atlanta tasting event is the largest of its kind in the Southeastern U.S. dedicated to celebrating the French tradition. Highlights of the evening will include the premiere and introductory tasting of the selected 2014 “Beaujolais Nouveau” wine paired with delicious cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Didier Lailheugue, a world-traveled chef with years of experience at Relais & Chateaux. Cabaret style entertainment will be provided by Theatre du Reve. A silent auction will also be held for destination travel prizes, with tickets donated by Delta Airlines and Air France/KLM.

“This annual celebration has become a famous highlight in Atlanta,” said FACC President David Aferiat. “It’s a great event that blends the cultural, business and social components of the U.S. and France together. Attendees enjoy a fabulous experience, while also contributing to the growth of our organization and its mission. ”

The “Beaujolais Nouveau” fundraiser is the biggest event organized by the FACC’s Atlanta Chapter. Funds generated will go to support FACC’s mission to develop and promote a thriving economic relationship, with reciprocal job creation, between the U.S. and France.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $40 (members) and $60 (non-members). Cost is $65 at the door. Business and social groups of ten or more can receive discounted ticket pricing and special mentions throughout the evening.
