Wimberley High School Partners with Integrity's Gift to Fundraise Smarter, Not Harder
WIMBERLEY, TEXAS (PRWEB) November 10, 2014 -- Wimberley High School is the most recent school to partner with Integrity’s Gift, a fundraising program dedicated to providing athletic programs with recurring revenue to fund expenses such as uniforms, equipment and travel.
“We’re used to doing car washes and bake sales, which may cover smaller expenses, but don’t compare to the cost of uniforms, helmets, shoulder pads and travel expenses,” said Doug Warren, Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Wimberley High. “That’s why we’re so excited to partner with Integrity and bring an entirely new funding source to our game plan. It’s smart for businesses and for our community. Best of all, we don’t have to continually fundraise – once we get the program up and running, the money is paid to our school on a monthly, recurring basis as long as the business continues to work with Integrity.”
Integrity’s Gift is an easy way for businesses to make a difference in the lives of local students at no extra cost to them. When businesses sign up for credit card processing through Integrity Payment Systems, 35 percent of Integrity’s revenue is donated to the school of their choice on a monthly basis to provide ongoing financial support for their athletic program. Integrity even matches the credit card processing rates that business owners currently pay, so participating in the program costs them nothing.
“It just makes sense for businesses to be able to give back without having to spend anything” said Coach Warren, whose brother and head coach of Abilene High, Steve Warren has been able to replace his team’s gym equipment after partnering with Integrity.
“Thanks to Integrity’s Gift, we’ve raised nearly $11,000 so far and have been fortunate enough to replace our old gym equipment with brand new weights,” Steve Warren said. “We get a check in the mail every month to purchase things like new cleats, football helmets, shoulder pads and other sports equipment the team might need.”
According to Steve Warren, the program is a win-win for business owners because of its unique “word of mouth” marketing arm. “Any businesses who participate in the program receive their own listing on Integrity’s website, along with complimentary social media marketing from Integrity’s team to drive traffic to their storefronts,” Steve Warren said. The Gift program’s Facebook page has nearly 1,300 fans so far and regularly mentions participating merchants to help boost their local marketing efforts.
Integrity’s Gift is a truly unique way for businesses to give back to their local community without added expense. Other businesses in the Wimberley area are invited to join Integrity’s Gift as a means of supporting Wimberley’s exemplary students and sports programs. By joining Integrity’s Gift, business owners can help keep the money they are spending on credit card processing fees in their community and support local youth -- all at no extra cost.
