Announcement: GuitarControl.com Releases “Easy Acoustic Guitar Lesson on Funk Rhythm - Learn to Play Funk Rhythms on Guitar”
(PRWEB) November 10, 2014 -- “Today I want to give you a mini lesson on funky strumming”, says Johnson. Claude teaches this lesson using a two chord progression of C9 and C7. Claude demonstrates how to play these chords as follows. C9; 3rd fret of the 5th string with 3rd finger, 2nd fret of the 4th string with first finger, 3rd fret of the 3rd string with 3rd finger, 3rd fret of the 2nd string with 4th finger and first string open. C7; 3rd fret of the 5th string with 3rd finger, 2nd fret of the 4th string with 2nd finger, 3rd fret of the 3rd string with 3rd finger, first fret of the 2nd string with first finger and open first string. “I am not going to count out the strumming pattern”, says Johnson, “you can just feel it out”. Claude continues by performing the riff so one can hear how it should sound and says that one can give it a cool embellishment by making the C7 into C by simply lifting off the 3rd finger. Johnson also demonstrates how to transpose the riff into the key of D by simply moving the sequence up one whole step. Guitar TAB’s are available for this easy beginner funk rhythm guitar lesson at GuitarControl.com.
