Signature Bank Partners With Chicago’s 1871 To Offer Banking Services For Members
(PRWEB) November 12, 2014 -- Signature Bancorporation, Inc. today announced that it has entered into a new partnership with Chicago’s 1871, an entrepreneurial hub for start-ups.
Signature Bank will offer concierge services and office hours for 1871 members for easy account start-up, establishment of deposits, and technology implementation. The bank will also establish banking relationships with members to provide fast and personal access for growth and lending opportunities.
“Signature Bank’s commitment to the Chicago business community and our strategy of embracing technology to offer our customers convenient, fast and secure banking services made this partnership with 1871 a natural fit,” stated Michael O’Rourke, president of Signature Bank. “We already have customers achieving success within the 1871 community and look forward to being the bank of choice for other members.”
In addition to the concierge banking services 1871 members will receive, the Signature Bank team will also offer monthly educational and tutorial sessions during official office hours on the first Tuesday of each month. Signature Bank will cover topics including cashflow management, alternative financing options, readiness for SBA funding and optimizing QuickBooks.
“With office hours and direct services for 1871 startups, our partnership with Signature Bank provides yet another important resource for our members,” said 1871 CEO Howard A. Tullman. “This opportunity is directly in line with 1871’s commitment to continually expanding the resources we provide in order to help our startups succeed."
“When I started my company, I wanted to work with people who understood my business plan, my challenges and what I was setting out to achieve,” stated Colm Lennon, President of Haka Products, a Signature Bank customer and 1871 member. “Signature Bank and 1871 were the perfect partners for my business. Both were Chicago start-ups that achieved success and I knew that their experience and entrepreneurial foundation would benefit my company and my plans for growth.”
