Celebrate the Holidays in a Winter Wonderland at The Bellevue Philadelphia
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) November 09, 2014 -- Holidays at The Bellevue Philadelphia will be newly festive and merry beginning Tuesday, November 25 through December 24, 2014.The Bellevue will be transformed, as it never has before, into a winter wonderland with a 12-FT decorated tree, magnificent red poinsettias and frosted greenery around the property. Visitors can also visit the historic “Santa Through the Ages” display, located near the Walnut Street entrance.
On November 25 & 26, The Bellevue will give back by partnering with MANNA for the annual “Pie in the Sky” drive. The drive allows guests to shop for a worthy cause from a variety of healthfully minded seasonal pies. MANNA cooks and delivers nutritious, medically-appropriate meals and provides nutrition counseling to home-bound residents suffering with life-threatening illnesses throughout the Greater Philadelphia area.
On Black Friday (November 28) free parking with any $50 purchase (while supplies last) will be offered to shoppers of the Bellevue when presenting a receipt from a retail or restaurant location. From 12 Noon to 2 p.m., Strolling carolers from University of Arts School of Music will provide entertainment for shoppers while Bellevue ambassadors distribute refreshments at property entrances. In line with another spirited philanthropic focus, the entirety of the Bellevue property will collect toys to benefit The Salvation Army’s “Share Hope Toy Drive”. Unwrapped donations will be collected in the lobby area for newborn to 14-year old children through December 19.
Every Saturday from November 29- December 20, from 12 Noon to 2 p.m.,The Bellevue welcomes families to visit and exchange wish-lists with a live Santa (located in the Bellevue lobby). Free gift wrapping will be available to all shoppers when they show a receipt from The Bellevue (located in the lower level of the Bellevue Eatery).
From December 10-14, The Bellevue will partner with Pennsylvania Ballet’s Nutcracker Market. The partnership will include a special appearance and photo opportunity with the Sugarplum Fairy and Mouse King on December 12 from 12-2 p.m.
