Team Fishel Chooses to Partner with MEA for Online Natural Gas Training
Eagan, MN (PRWEB) November 11, 2014 -- Midwest ENERGY Association (MEA) announces that Team Fishel, a premier national utility construction, engineering and network installation contractor, has chosen MEA to partner with for their new online natural gas training via MEA’s comprehensive EnergyU eLearning solution. The new training program will address the technical needs of Team Fishel through a consistent, up-to-date Operator Qualification (OQ) OQ curriculum while providing the formal documentation of learning required by their customers and regulatory agencies.
James “Junior” Cassity, Team Fishel OQ coordinator/evaluator helped select MEA’s EnergyU eLearning solution. “In 2000 Team Fishel selected Midwest ENERGY Association’s (MEA) Operator Qualification training: written test, hands-on performance Evalution’s, and recordkeeping software OQplus (now CERCplus) as we found it to be the most complete system available,” explains Cassity. “Fourteen years later Team Fishel approached MEA about adding EnergyU to our training program. We liked the ASME B31Q content and respect MEA’s long tradition of leadership excellence in training.”
Tom Jackson, director of sales and marketing at MEA noted that “MEA is pleased to welcome this next stage of involvement by Team Fishel. Active members of MEA, their decision to incorporate MEA’s EnergyU as the foundation of their OQ training and testing program, allows Team Fishel to utilize the same comprehensive and high quality materials that are used by hundreds of energy delivery companies nationwide.” MEA’s EnergyU is the most widely used OQ system in the distribution gas industry.
