Pearson Announces Smarthinking Online Tutoring Service Enhancements to Improve Institutional and Learner Outcomes

• Text message notification, which enables students to opt to register their cell phone numbers to receive text message notification of the return of their reviewed writing from the Smarthinking Writing Center, and pre-scheduled appointment reminders providing students faster alerts in a format of their choice
• Voice-enabled whiteboard, which allows students and tutors to speak voice-to-voice, while engaged with the interactive whiteboard. This allows students who may be auditory learners to be supported in a manner conducive to their learning style
