Cricket Wireless Presents Award-Winning Merger Training Strategy in Complimentary Webinar Hosted by Intellum
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 11, 2014 -- Intellum, a visionary provider of learning-related technology for companies of all sizes, will host a complimentary webinar highlighting how strategic training accelerated the merger of Aio Wireless, a unit of AT&T, with Cricket Wireless to meet the goal of operating as one company 60 days after AT&T’s acquisition of Cricket Wireless was finalized. The webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET. The Cricket Wireless merger training initiative was recently ranked second in the 2014 Learning! 100 Awards, a program recognizing 100 private and public organizations for outstanding learning cultures, innovations, or collaborations that drive performance.
The merger training initiative touched approximately 15,000 employees, contractors, and third-party support personnel following the acquisition’s finalization on March 13, 2014. The initiative was built around many of the latest learning trends – such as social learning and collaboration and performance support tools. Aside from a one-day class that introduced employees to the new Cricket brand and company culture, all other training offerings and related communications were designed to be accessed and used via mobile devices.
The Cricket Wireless webinar presenters – Tad Kozak, rich media manager, and David Dayton, field communications manager – will detail the multi-part training strategy that combined leader-led training, an internally developed performance support tool for in-store employees, extensive information resources and simulations, and collaborative learning. The presenters will also candidly discuss lessons learned and the impressive business results that support the initiative’s success.
“Working with customers like Cricket Wireless is the best part of our business,” said Chip Ramsey, co-founder and CEO of Intellum. “The Cricket team understands the potential of technology innovation and continually strives to find new and more efficient ways of doing their jobs. They’re also highly focused on the employee experience, which in our minds, is often minimized in corporate training.”
The webinar presentation is specifically designed for those training professionals with responsibility for business-change training, those interested in using social learning, and those looking to leverage mobile technology to meet training challenges.
