Moore Design Group Wins 7 Legacy Awards at ASID Ceremony
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) November 11, 2014 -- The nationally-acclaimed interior design team that is widely celebrated for its groundbreaking multifamily designs has expanded its collection of accolades to include awards in commercial, hospitality and residential design categories as well. Moore Design Group, headed by Principle Stephanie Moore-Hager, won seven awards in the 2014 ASID Texas Legacy of Design competition, which honors outstanding members of the design community and recognizes the finest and most innovative achievements in interior design.
For the first time, the ASID committee opted to eliminate the multifamily category from the annual competition, obliging MDG’s designs to compete in the commercial, hospitality and residential design categories. The change in category structure proved to not be a hindrance to MDG’s success in the competition.
“It is a distinguished honor to be judged and recognized by our peers in such a rewarding way that identifies the finest interior design achievements within the Texas Chapter,” Hager said.
The Vue at RidgeGate in Lone Tree, Colorado continues to acquire accolades for its sleek “mountain modern” design. In the Commercial Singular Space category, the leasing lobby of The Vue won second place while the club amenity area received an honorable mention.
The Vue’s model unit, designed by Project Manager Allison Bates, is carefully inscribed with sophisticated, earthy elements, won second place in the Contemporary Residence category.
“These kudos add so beautifully to the luster of MDG’s magnificent design. I continue to believe that The Vue at RidgeGate is our nicest design and execution to date,” Martin Fein, President of Martin Fein Interests, Ltd, said.
Monaco on the Trail located in Uptown Dallas won first place in the Commercial Hospitality category for the club amenity space design and second place in the One Unique Space category for the lobby entrance. The model unit, also designed by Bates, won first place in the Contemporary Residence category.
Winning first place for Residential Contemporary Bedroom, the guest retreat in the Dallas home of Supreme Lending President Scott Everett is meticulously designed as a comfortable, inviting space that welcomes visitors with a cool neutral palette. The mélange of luxurious textures and rich, dark woodwork create a balanced space that is as functional as it is fashionable.
With 24 years of experience in the industry, MDG continues to design winning dynamic interiors and is sure to add distinctions to its running list of awards and accolades with new projects currently underway.
“Purposeful texture, color and tactile surfaces are specifically designed with our client’s project intentions in mind,” Hager said. “Our spaces are exceptionally inviting. We provide a balanced mix of functional practical forms – it’s about mixing not matching! Life is about accumulating pieces, it reflects your interest, experiences and travel. Anytime you can bring people to a room for multiple purposes you have succeeded.”
