Hundreds expected for the 2nd W.E.C.A.N job fair.

We are looking for current patients willing to sell their cannabis as the Nevada law allows~ Jen Solas

Wellness Education Cannabis Advocates of Nevada, (W.E.C.A.N.) will be hosting a Medical Cannabis Job Expo at the Clark County Library Theater, located at 1401 E. Flamingo Rd. on November 16, 2014 from 1:30pm - 5pm. The Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health announced on November 3 the applicants selected for the medical marijuana certificates and employers will be looking for employees with experience in the cannabis field.

In this second Job fair WeCan will be looking for people that are willing to sell their cannabis medications to the dispensaries that got licenses in Nevada. Nevada state law allows patients to sell their cannabis medications to the industry. Patients are encouraged to. Please do not bring cannabis to the event.

Meet some of the following industry leaders in Nevada: the UFCW, LVNorml Womans Alliance,Canna Business Direct, ProCaregivers, Cannabis Caregiver, Weed TV, VonDank and several local MME holders. People interested in the cannabis industry are encouraged to bring a cannabis experience resume and apply for any or all aspects of cannabis employment.

This Job Expo is free and open to all interested parties. These jobs represent different types of employment from sales, budtenders, cultivators, production and administrative jobs.

Wellness Education Cannabis Advocates of Nevada 702 is a federal 501c3 for cannabis education and research. They meet with locals who support the use of cannabis for medicinal reasons and who would like to work to reform the current marijuana laws regarding; advocacy, access to medication, and human rights issues. They help low income Nevadans acquire their Medical Marijuana cards, host Patient’s support meetings on the second Saturday of each month and host social gatherings such as the Patients Holiday party on November 29, 2014.
