Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation is pleased to announce that Christine Deister has been appointed to the role of Chief Commercial Officer in addition to her current position as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Ms. Deister will assume most of the responsibilities of former President, Jim Rankin, who has resigned from the Company to become President of Columbia Helicopters.
Ms. Deister will assume her new duties leading the Air Wisconsin organization effective immediately and will report to interim President Patrick Thompson. Christine has held her current CFO and Treasurer position since November 2004 when she joined the Company. Prior to that, she was the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for four years at Hawaiian Airlines following a long career at Trans World Airlines where she last held the position of Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. Mr. Thompson is a former Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation and its current Chairman.
