Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 12, 2014 -- TAG Government Relations in partnership with AT&T and Google is hosting their annual Legislative Roundtable to bring legislators, researchers, and industry representatives together to discuss emerging science and technology policy issues in Georgia. This year it will be hosted at the Georgia Tech Research Institute Auditorium (250 14th Street NW Atlanta, GA) on Wednesday, November 12th, 2014.
The TAG Legislative Roundtable, sponsored by AT&T, Center of Innovation for Aerospace, Google and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, is an annual event that aims to match political, academic, and industry expertise in a venue that fosters development of relationships and understanding of Georgia’s policies surrounding science and technology.
The 2014 Legislative Roundtable discussion will begin with Unmanned Vehicles, Drones, and Aerospace Policy. This panel is being held in conjunction with the House Study Committee on Aviation & Job Creations, which include Representative Jimmy Pruett, Chairman, Representative Geoff Duncan, Representative Mike Cheokas, Representative William W. Hitchens, Jr., and Representative Demetrius Douglas.
A film post production panel will be chaired by Andrew Greenberg from the Georgia Game Developers Association, Kris Bagwell from EUE Screen Gems Atlanta, Chris Wells and Senator Judson Hill.
Conversations will be sparked by the education and workforce development panel with Senator John Albers, Senator Brandon Beach, Representative Mike Dudgeon, Representative Heath Clark, and Representative Ed Setzler.
The disruptive technologies panel with Keith Radford from Uber, Representative Trey Kelley, Chair of the House Study Committee on Autonomous Vehicles, Amol Naik from Google, Eric Corban from Guided Systems Technologies, and AJ Piplica from Generation Orbit. Audience members will have time to ask panelists questions and network during breaks.
