PayLease (http://www.paylease.com), a leading provider of online rent payments for the property management industry, today announced participation in Breast Cancer Awareness month through its annual walking challenge. PayLease pledged to donate $2,000 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation if employees cumulatively walked 10 million steps during the 4 week challenge. Employees shattered that goal with a cumulative step count of 14,415,122.
PayLease also raised awareness to the cause by providing all employees with specially designed Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirts. Photos of employees wearing their “Think Pink” t-shirts were posted to social media throughout the month of October with the hashtag #payleasecares.
“Employees are like family here at PayLease, so initiatives which promote healthy living are very important to us,” said PayLease CEO, Dave Dutch. “With our annual walking challenge occurring during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it made sense for us to simultaneously support a cause that has affected so many friends and family members of PayLease.”
PayLease will also be raising awareness for prostate cancer in November through its Movember contest.
