Lake Ridge Academy Girls Soccer Player Yana Miller earns Fifth Spot in OHSAA Record Book for Most Goals Scored in a Season
North Ridgeville, Ohio (PRWEB) November 12, 2014 -- Yana Miller, a sophomore girls soccer player at Lake Ridge Academy, scored 58 goals this season and has earned herself the title of fifth place in all-time goals scored in a season in the OHSAA record book. She is also tied for fourth in OHSAA history for most goals scored in a game at 8. Yana’s outstanding achievements set a school record for most goals scored in a season and a game, and she was named girls soccer Most Valuable Player of the Year at Lake Ridge Academy.
A resident of Amherst, Ohio, Yana has scored a total of 81 goals over her last two seasons playing on the school’s varsity team. With two more seasons to play at Lake Ridge Academy, she is already planning to score more goals next year and break her own records.
