Lucas Group today announced the appointment of Justin Laliberte to Managing Partner for the executive recruitment firm’s Information Technology Practice Group in Atlanta. In his new role, Laliberte is responsible for the strategic and operational programs of the Atlanta IT recruiting branch, including hiring and developing a high-performance team to serve the growing talent acquisition needs of corporate clients across the Southeast.

“Justin brings a broad-based and knowledgeable approach, rooted in his extensive sales and management experience in the technology industry,” said Steven Robinson, General Manager for Lucas Group’s Information Technology Practice Group. “He understands the rapidly-evolving dynamics of the IT world, from cloud computing and data warehousing to big data and business intelligence, and has built a distinguished track record in sales, recruiting and team leadership.”

Laliberte’s notable career experience provides him a strong platform for succeeding in his new role. Prior to joining Lucas Group, he served as Senior Account Executive at Corporate Technologies where he was responsible for expanding the IT firm’s data integration and business intelligence practice into the Southeast. In that role, Laliberte demonstrated an outstanding ability to lead the development and execution of Corporate Technologies’ go-to-market strategy in a dynamic and fast-paced region.

Earlier in his career, Laliberte served as Director of Staffing Solutions for Corporate Technologies. His responsibilities included planning and executing the department’s IT consulting services strategy, managing lead generation and pipeline growth, and directing a ten-person team while also serving as an individual sales contributor. Laliberte’s professional experience also includes positions with Cognilytics and Oxford & Associates, covering a variety of functional and industry-specific areas.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Boston, Laliberte was a Stephen M. O'Grady and Ujima Scholar and has received a variety of sales and organizational awards for his professional achievements. Committed to life-long professional development, he has furthered his education through an assortment of programs, including Dale Carnegie Leadership and Public Speaking, Sandler Sales Training and Sales Gauge Training, a social media training program.
