PSG Clarity and Society of Financial Professional Services (SFPS) Herald New Off-Cycle Education Classes for Members
Fulton, MD (PRWEB) December 02, 2014 -- Society of Financial Professional Services in Fulton is affiliated with the Baltimore Chapter. Brian Kuhn, manager of PSG Clarity is on the board of the local SPSP and with others on the board proposed and developed the classes for any members who would like to attend.
“It came to our attention that there are many young financial advisors in the area who may benefit from networking with others in the field as well as learn about issues seldom addressed in our regular meetings,” explained Mr. Kuhn. “So, we’re testing a new program of education classes on broader topics offered free of charge to our local members. These classes are much more informal than those on the regular schedule.”
SFPS offers a variety of fee-based continuing education classes. On November 4, 2014 Mr. Kuhn will be the speaker at the PSA Insurance and Financial Services location. The off-cycle classes are less formal and are designed to address broad topics presented by a specialist in the field such as Same Sex Estate Planning Issues, Social Security and Medicare and Gun Trusts.

With the legalization of same sex marriage being accepted by many states, partners in these states are finally allowed to set up estate plans that will be upheld by statutes. Same Sex Estate Planning has its own quirks and issues that may be overlooked by planners who are lack experience in this field.
