Willig, Williams & Davidson Partner Presents at Conference of International Employee Benefit Plans
(PRWEB) November 14, 2014 -- Attorney Louise “Wendy” Pongracz, of the labor, employment and workers’ compensation law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson, recently spoke as a co-leader of a workshop during two programs both entitled “The Details – Don’t Get Tripped Up” at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans in Boston, Mass.
Pongracz was joined by co-presenter Thomas K. Wotring, senior counsel at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, and program moderator William F. Feyling, Executive Director, Carpenters 46 Northern California Counties Conference Board.
The workshops on Oct. 13 and 14 clarified the understanding and applicability of several aspects of the Affordable Care Act and Health Savings Account plans as they relate to employment law.
As a labor and benefits lawyer with 25 years of experience, Pongracz counsels and represents public and private-sector single and multi-employer funds in a comprehensive range of employee benefit issues.
Pongracz is a frequent lecturer and author on topics ranging from benefits in labor negotiations to compliance with federal benefits laws and regulations, including IRC, HIPPA and COBRA matters. She also is a frequent lecturer on ERISA and health care compliance issues for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
She previously served as a hearing officer for the Massachusetts Labor Relations Commission. Pongracz earned her legal degree from Northeastern University School of Law in 1985, after graduating cum laude from Bucknell University in 1980.
