The Grower Select Curtain Machine is engineered to reduce product maintenance for swine and poultry producers. This powerful screw machine accurately controls curtains, inlets, and tunnel doors in swine and poultry facilities.
Grower Select’s Curtain Machine delivers easy servicing, smooth operation and reliability for all stages of swine and poultry ventilation. The Curtain Machine’s low maintenance acetal plastic load nut provides superior wear resistance compared to a brass material. The block rides on self-lubricating, low friction acetal plastic guides that are imbedded in the cabinet sides. Acetal plastic is one of the strongest, non-reinforced plastics available with a low friction coefficient resulting in less wear and required maintenance on this machine.
A removable front cover, precision cut outs and swivel points allow for easy removal of the ACME screw and block. Manual control switches in the curtain machine allow for quick adjustments of the screw and limit switch positions directly from the box. In addition, the Curtain Machine includes double limit switches which “lock out” the machine when the second switch is activated for added security. Grower Select Curtain Machines are suited for multiple motor sizes, available in 120V, 240V, 15 and 30 RPM models.
