This is the second award A Bead and a Prayer has received—it also won the 2014 Christian Small Publisher Book of the Year award.

A Bead and a Prayer introduces Protestants to prayer beads as a way to connect with God. It includes prayers to use with beads and helps readers discover how beads can help them deepen their faith, understand Christian beliefs, and listen to God. The book includes instructions for making prayer beads.

Vincent and her husband, Max, are coauthors of a follow-up book of devotions to use with prayer beads, scheduled to release in January 2015.
