Freestyle by Michael W. Waters Wins Two USA Best Book Awards
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) November 15, 2014 -- Fresh Air Books is pleased to announce that Freestyle: Reflections on Faith, Family, Justice, and Pop Culture by Michael W. Waters has won two 2014 USA Best Book Awards. Freestyle was named a Finalist in the Social Change and Religion: Christianity categories.
Freestyle is a collection of essays in which Waters comments on current issues from his perspective as a pastor, husband, father, and expert on hip-hop culture. He seeks to restore hope by pointing toward the active presence of God at work in places such as the inner city, where hope seems absent.
