The Debut of Life in Your Social Network, The Web Series Presented By Heard
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 17, 2014 -- Life in Your Social Network, a new web series featuring guest appearances by Gilbert Gottfried and Tim Sizemore, debuted its first episode today. The groundbreaking series asks the question, “What if your life was like your social network?” The series is presented by the Heard social exchange, a new platform that changes the way people share and exchange information online.
The LIYSN series follows a group of characters as they navigate a world where elements of their social networks have become reality. This manifestation includes real life, personified social media feeds and situations that are common on social media but bizarre in real life, such as content overload, marketing exploitation, lack of an audience and invasion of privacy, the latter by a creepy mountebank who personifies big data, nicknamed Big D.
“When we first heard about the concept, we knew we wanted to support it. With Heard, we are passionate about addressing the difficulties and perils inherent in popular social media products, and this series does a great job of raising awareness about these issues in a comical way,” says Dave Vronay, CEO and founder of Heard.
The first three episodes, to be released through December 2014, are set at a cocktail party where the main character, Steve Olson, faces a number of odd interactions, as if real life imitated that of social networks. This includes Gottfried’s ramblings as his personified Twitter feed. The web series was written and directed by award winning web series director, Hunter Davis, and produced by Create Produce Exploit, LLC.
