QuickChek Gives Big Support to Hope For The Warriors One Dollar at a Time
Whitehouse Station, NJ (PRWEB) November 17, 2014 -- QuickChek customers and employees demonstrated great support to military families with their September “Dog Tag” Promotion. In total, the New Jersey chain raised more than $75,000 for Hope For The Warriors® in support of military families both locally and nationwide. Hope For The Warriors® is a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a sense of self, restoring the family unit, and restoring hope for our service members and our military families.
Throughout the month of September, QuickChek customers were invited to purchase $1 “Dog Tags” in support of military families. Each Dog Tag purchased was signed and posted on the walls of the more than 130 stores.
The Quickchek location in Neptune, New Jersey sold the most Dog Tags with their donations totaling $3,755.
QuickChek presented Hope For The Warriors® with a $75,000 check donation on November 10 at its Neptune, New Jersey location.
“We pride ourselves in being active members of the communities we serve and we’re pleased to honor and support our service members and their families who give so much of themselves,” said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling, whose privately owned-and-operated company based in Whitehouse Station, NJ has 139 retail locations throughout New Jersey and New York.
