Concept Capital Markets, LLC is pleased to announce that it was the recipient of Global Custodian’s 25th Anniversary Award for Excellence & Consistency in Prime Brokerage Client Service in North America

Concept Capital Markets, LLC is pleased to announce that it was the recipient of Global Custodian’s 25th Anniversary Award for Excellence & Consistency in Prime Brokerage Client Service in North America. The award was announced last evening at Global Custodian’s Awards dinner in New York, and follows the release of the 2014 Prime Brokerage Survey by the magazine a few months ago. Data from that survey and similar ones conducted in preceding years formed the basis by which finalists, and ultimately the winners, were selected in each of the award categories. In the 2014 survey, Concept Capital earned top scores in six of the ten categories, as well as top 4 or better scores in three other categories. The firm’s overall score remained consistent with that achieved a year earlier, compared favorably to the overall survey scores, and included improved scores year-to-year in six categories.

“We are honored to receive this award from Global Custodian and proud to have been included with such esteemed finalists. We aim to earn our clients’ business by serving as a trusted and loyal partner and delivering the prime brokerage solutions they’ve come to expect of us, and I can think of no better accolade than one representing client service” said Jack Seibald, co-founder and Managing Member. “As a firm, we greatly appreciate the efforts by Global Custodian and all of the investment managers who participated in the survey, as the survey results provide valuable feedback that will help us as we further develop our capabilities to meet our clients’ needs. We are also gratified for the recognition our firm received, as it validates the effort our team puts forth every day”, he added. Concept Capital’s mission is to deliver the custody, execution and clearing, operational support, and portfolio management and reporting solutions that free the firm’s clients to focus on their core competencies.

Its editorial scope has since expanded to include fund administration, securities lending and financing, prime brokerage and the infrastructure of the global securities industry (CSDs, ICSDs, payments systems and other industry bodies and initiatives). The editorial content of the magazine is now also supported by industry-standard surveys that address how the performance of custodian banks, fund administrators, prime brokers and tri-party securities financing providers compare with each other and within individual markets.
