Dec. 7, 2014 at 7 p.m. – Cantus presents “All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914” by Peter Rothstein, with musical arrangements by Erick Lichte and Timothy C. Takach. One hundred years ago peace broke out, at least for a little while: the Western Front, Christmas Eve, 1914. Out of the violence of the Great War’s trenches comes a silence, then a song, as a young German soldier steps into no man’s land singing "Stille Nacht." Thus begins an extraordinary night of camaraderie, music, and peace.

Na Leo consists of three childhood friends, Nalani Choy, Lehua Kalima Heine and Angela Morales returning to the mainland after ten years away.
