Menlo College Accounting Students Score Jobs Before Commencement

At Menlo College, every junior who had a summer internship received a job offer and every sophomore received a call back for an internship next summer.

Internships led to jobs for these Menlo College accounting Students.

It proves the value of a rigorous academic environment, Silicon Valley connections, networking opportunities, and pretty much round-the-clock advising.

“Every junior student who had a summer internship received a job offer and every sophomore student received a call back for an internship next summer,” proudly announced Menlo College Associate Professor Donna Little. “It proves the value of a rigorous academic environment, Silicon Valley connections, networking opportunities, and pretty much round-the-clock advising. We are so proud of our future graduates!” Some of those students included:

Ansje-Johanna Bol “I was offered a full time job at Ernst & Young (EY) in the tax department. The accounting faculty go above and beyond their role as professors when it comes to the future of the students. I am excited to take this next step in my life with the EY family.”

Lauriane Cassou “My job will be at KPMG as a first year audit associate. The accounting professors at Menlo College played an important role in helping me get ready for my interviews and for my internship.”

Ana Escarela “I’m very excited to start my career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and be independent. The Menlo College Accounting Club held an accounting panel where I met PwC’s partner Tina Knauss.”

Monica Fein “I am confident that Burr Pilger Mayer in San Francisco is the perfect firm for me to begin my career in accounting. My accounting professors commit much of their own time to helping their students excel.”

Jacob Fohn “I’ll be working for KPMG in the Silicon Valley office in Santa Clara. I’m excited to work in the Silicon Valley because of the fast-paced business environment that brings new technologies to the market.”

Giuseppe Frattaroli “I will be starting a full-time position at PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Jose. As an international student it is an opportunity of a lifetime considering how hard is to get a job nowadays, right out of college in one of the Big Four! Menlo’s accounting program has very good connections.”

Jolise Limcaco “My internship at Frank, Rimerman + Co., LLP exposed me to associate responsibilities in the audit, tax, and consulting departments. My accounting professors helped students send out resumes to local accounting firms, including the Big 4.”

Mata Tagaloa “I am excited to be heading to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in San Jose as an Assurance Associate in a Big 4 accounting firm environment. I look forward to starting. My accounting professors work extremely hard to help accounting students, and I couldn’t have done it without their help.”

Alex Tenorio “Adams LLP, a fast paced environment in Los Angeles, has so much opportunity for success. They caught my eye during my sophomore year when I struck up a conversation with a partner from the San Francisco office.”

Michael Urcia “My internship at Armanino in San Jose led to a full-time job. There was no better feeling than entering my senior year with a job for after I graduate. The things I learned in the classroom helped me succeed in my internship.”
