The level of technology and automation used in the 5 Star Examiner Performance Model is one-of-a-kind and very important to managing performance in a network of our size.

Examination Management Services, Inc. (EMSI), the market leader in medical information, risk management and investigative services, has launched a proprietary program called the 5 Star Examiner Performance Model to enhance its paramedical exam service to life insurance carriers and their distribution partners. Through use of EMSI’s 5 Star Examiner Performance Model, customers can be confident in knowing that their paramedical exams are conducted by examiners whose performance is continually monitored, evaluated and ranked against peers, resulting in improved performance and greater customer satisfaction.

The 5 Star Examiner Performance Model is based on an examiner’s performance in five areas including cycle time, appointments met, reschedule rates, use of EMSI’s electronic paramed process and promptness in contacting applicants. With this model, paramedical exam orders are assigned to examiners with the best ranking within the zip code of the proposed insured, rewarding examiners who perform well and providing customers with professional and capable paramedical examiners.

EMSI’s 5 Star Examiner Performance Model will officially launch on December 1, 2014. All orders routed through EMSI’s service centers and any orders placed utilizing EMSI’s proprietary scheduling tool, ScheduleEZ, will utilize EMSI’s 5 Star Examiner Performance Model.
