Franchise Business Review, a national franchise market research firm that performs independent surveys of franchisee satisfaction and franchise buyer experiences, has named Zinga Frozen Yogurt in its top Emerging Franchises report. The recognition follows on the heels of Zinga being named to Franchise Business Review’s Top 40 Food franchises this year.

Both Franchise Business Review’s Emerging Brands and Top Food Franchises reports recognize up-and-coming franchise brands based solely on franchisee satisfaction and performance.

“If you are considering an 'emerging' brand— one that has five or fewer years of experience franchising—it’s important you look carefully at the franchise structure and leadership that’s behind that brand,” said Franchise Business Review President Michelle Rowan. “For example, do they have the corporate resources to properly support you? Does the leadership team have previous experience in the franchise industry? Does the concept itself have staying power?”

The recognition comes at an opportune time for Zinga, according to Zinga President John Fitchett. Zinga has retained White Mark Development to oversee Zinga Franchise Group LLC sales nationally. Also, the franchisor has just joined forces with a national ad management firm specializing in online franchise directories.

Zinga currently is offering a gift card promotion that offers $5 in “Treat Buckz” for every $25 card purchased. In December Zinga stores will be “Free Bottomz Month” and consumers see a new flavor showcased each week. The bonus offerings continue in January with Zinga offering complimentary Hot Fudge and Caramel Sauce.
