Interactivity, Compelling Content and High Performance Were Key Ingredients in Three Partner Campaigns Named Finalists in the Best In-Banner Video Ad and Best In-Stream Video Ad Categories

Mixpo, the leading video advertising technology company, today announced that three client campaigns are finalists for the 2014 Digiday Video Awards. The Digiday Video Awards honor overall excellence and breakthrough achievement in video media, marketing and advertising. Mixpo is a finalist in the Best In-Banner Video Ad and Best In-Stream Video Ad categories.

In the Best In-Banner Video Ad category, the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor Ad was selected as a finalist. This ad was brought to life by Mixpo, Triad Retail Media and SaatchiX. Gillette was one of the first advertisers to participate in Walmart’s ecommerce ad units powered by Triad and Mixpo. The right placement, a shortened path to purchase, and compelling content proved to be a powerful combination.

In the Best In-Stream Video Ad category, Mixpo had two finalists: The Passport to Texas Campaign created for Texas Tourism by CBS Interactive, Mixpo and Slingshot; and The Other Side of Lexus Campaign created by Microsoft, Mixpo and Team One. Both of these interactive video campaigns increased awareness and outperformed benchmarks.
