The 2014 “Run Faster, Further and Injury-Free for Years to Come” Women’s Running Telesummit is a free online event featuring presentations by guest experts on women’s running. The event is presented by the International Association of Women Runners, and runs Monday, November 17 through Thursday, December 4.

Never before have so many authorities on women’s running been gathered together to discuss the specific needs of this important segment of runners

Women runners now account for almost 60% of all road race finishers. Women-only races and lines of women’s running clothing proliferate. Running to raise money for worthy causes is a female domain. However, as we age, the risk of injury increases. This is particularly true for women, more so than for men. The free 2014 “Run Faster, Further and Injury-Free for Years to Come” Women’s Running Telesummit focuses on the unique needs of women runners over 40. This online event is hosted by the International Association of Women Runners (IAWR).

“Never before have so many authorities on women’s running been gathered together to discuss the specific needs of this important segment of runners,” says Bennett Cohen, Running Coach to Women Over 40, and President of IAWR. “We invite all women over 40 who passionate about running to get expert advice on how to run faster and injury-free.”

The free 2014 Women’s Running Telesummit, accessible by phone or webcast, will take place Monday, November 17 through Thursday, December 4.
