This is a service many seniors and families in our community can benefit from, and I’m looking forward to being that local resource. - Bret Rachlin
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 18, 2014
Bret Rachlin knows what it’s like to relocate a senior. When his mom and 90-year-old father moved from Fort Myers to Atlanta four years ago, the stress was overwhelming. That experience, combined with his desire to serve his community as a small business owner, is why Rachlin has launched Caring Transitions of North Metro Atlanta.
Caring Transitions is America’s largest resource specializing in managing senior relocations, downsizing and estate liquidations. In addition to the organizing, packing and move oversight, Caring Transitions can handle on-site and online estate sales, liquidations, and preparing homes for market. Caring Transitions of North Metro Atlanta serves Roswell, Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Brookhaven and Doraville.
“My parents had a big age difference and my father was 90 when they moved to Atlanta four years ago. He was living at home, but his health was deteriorating and my mom ended up being responsible for managing the entire move. It was extremely stressful and it impacted her health. By working with Caring Transitions, other families can avoid the kind of stress my family experienced,” Rachlin said. “This is a service many seniors and families in our community can benefit from, and I’m looking forward to being that local resource. Moving, relocating a senior or liquidating an estate can be extremely challenging, but my team and I are here to make lives easier and moves and estate liquidations simpler.”
Whether your situation is planned or unexpected, Caring Transitions’ services are perfect for seniors moving in with family or into a safer living situation, as well as for families clearing out the home of a loved one who has passed.
Before opening his Caring Transitions franchise, Rachlin spent 20 years in marketing. His experience working with clients and guiding them to success through creative solutions and project management, as well as his experience with his own family and desire to work with seniors made Caring Transitions a good fit.
“When I started looking at companies serving seniors and caregivers, I found Caring Transitions. I joined the Caring Transitions franchise system to help families like my own. I believe we owe it to our seniors to help make things easier for them. They’ve worked hard all their lives and this is an opportunity for us to help them and their families during a very difficult time,” Rachlin said.
In addition to the services Caring Transitions will be offering the community, Rachlin is excited about the opportunity to help seniors and families learn to communicate more effectively by offering communication workshops in the future.
When he’s not working, Rachlin is spending time with his wife, Nicki, and daughters, Emma and Chloe. He’s also a long distance runner, a supporter of the Food Allergy Research and Education organization and an active part of the JCC in Dunwoody
