Haynes and Boone, LLP is pleased to announce the arrival of Jeffrey Escobar as counsel in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, expanding the breadth of available experience in the vibrant construction law sector in Texas and throughout the country.

Recognized as a Rising Star for Construction by Super Lawyers in 2014, Mr. Escobar is a construction practices specialist who has led and advised clients on the development and construction of hundreds of large and complex vertical and horizontal projects across the country.

From the construction of a professional sports arena and the only aerial commuter tramway system in the country in New York City, to the development and construction of luxury apartment communities in Downtown Dallas and the engineering of energy facilities in the Gulf of Mexico, Escobar has provided clients with in-depth knowledge of the design, engineering and construction practices coupled with a deep sense of practicality critical for the successful completion and delivery of a project. At every stage of design and construction, Escobar provides key insight and service, from land use and development, construction project management and claims-handling, to construction-related mediations, arbitrations and litigations.

Escobar received his Bachelor of Arts Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Washington and Juris Doctorate with honor from the New England School of Law in in Boston, Mass.
