InterCall®, a subsidiary of West Corporation and the world's largest conferencing and collaboration services provider, announced today their deployment and support of the new Collaboration Meeting Rooms (CMR) Cloud service enabled by Cisco WebEx. InterCall, which has been selling and providing lifecycle services for Cisco WebEx since 2001, has fully integrated its Reservationless-Plus® audio conferencing and is immediately able to implement CMR Cloud for WebEx enterprise customers.

Previously available only through on-premise or hybrid solutions, Cisco CMR Cloud offers the same conferencing and collaboration flexibility along with the benefits of hosting in the cloud. By converging video and web conferencing through the Cisco WebEx Cloud, companies receive a more consistent, reliable connection that can be reached through just one click. Each user is given their own personal video collaboration space so they can collaborate with anyone on any device at any time.

“Cisco is passionate about helping people get highly collaborative work done without technology hassles getting in the way—this passion is the driving force behind our entire collaboration portfolio including CMR Cloud,” said Rowan Trollope, senior vice president, Collaboration Technology Group, Cisco. “Working with InterCall will give more people access to great collaboration technology, so more great work can get done quicker.”

With Cisco CMR Cloud, users can enjoy a single meeting experience, whether they join from their video endpoint, browser or mobile device. Additionally, the service allows user to easily schedule meetings in advance or use the personal room experience for instant and always-available meetings. InterCall provides audio integration within the CMR Cloud, as well as all necessary support and training.

“Our mission is to make people more engaged and productive through their choice of collaboration tools," said Rob Bellmar, Executive Vice President of Conferencing and Collaboration at InterCall. “We have a great relationship with Cisco and are excited to expand that partnership with the new CMR Cloud service.”
