Next Step Living® is Presenting Sponsor for Rally for the Jimmy Fund
Boston, MA (PRWEB) November 19, 2014 -- Next Step Living®, the leading provider of whole-home energy solutions in New England, is the presenting sponsor of the 2015 Rally for the Jimmy Fund, a fundraiser created for Boston Red Sox fans to build camaraderie in workplaces and schools while supporting adult and pediatric patient care and cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
“As a company committed to making a difference, we are grateful for the means and opportunity to help the Jimmy Fund advance its mission,” said Geoff Chapin, CEO and founder of Next Step Living. “We are humbled to be able to sponsor the 2015 Rally for the Jimmy Fund and support the world-renowned Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.”
Rally for the Jimmy Fund presented by Next Step Living encourages Red Sox fans to start a “Rally” team by partnering with their workplaces and schools and encouraging co-workers, classmates, and friends to contribute $5 or more to the Jimmy Fund. In exchange, the teammates can wear Boston Red Sox gear to work or school on Monday, April 13, when the Red Sox play the Washington Nationals in the team’s home opener at Fenway Park.
The website for Rally for the Jimmy Fund presented by Next Step Living is now open. Participants can visit RallyForTheJimmyFund.org to form teams and begin fundraising for the coming season.
“We are thrilled to partner with Next Step Living for the 2015 Rally for the Jimmy Fund,” said David Giagrando, assistant vice president, corporate partnerships at Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund. “Red Sox fans around New England enjoy participating in this program, and we’re proud to have Next Step Living join us to support Dana-Farber’s live-saving mission.”
