Houston-based Hart Energy, information provider to the energy industry, and its Oil and Gas Investor Australia franchise (magazine, e-newsletter and web site), have been named the Global Media Partner for LNG 18, the International Gas Union's 18th International Conference and Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas.

As global media partners, Oil and Gas Investor Australia and Hart Energy will work closely with event organisers, governments and conference participants – natural gas producers, engineering companies, LNG shippers, LNG end users and others -- to highlight their participation in the LNG 18 program and its associated exhibition and technical activities.

More than 5,000 delegates and exhibitors from more than 60 countries are expected to converge in Perth, WA for the conference. The triennial event, set for 11-15 April 2016, is the global LNG industry’s leading venue and covers the entire LNG supply chain. Its four-day program spans plenary sessions, workshops, poster session, exhibition, and technical facility tours as well as conference ceremonies and receptions for industry networking. LNG 18 organisers (lng18.org) have invited prospective presenters to submit abstracts of original papers by 20 April 2015.

“Oil and Gas Investor Australia and Hart Energy are honored to have been selected as Global Media Partner for this prestigious event,” said Rich Eichler, CEO and Vice Chairman of Hart Energy.

“Australia is poised to be the biggest LNG exporter in the next few years, so Perth is the ideal location for LNG 18,” he noted. “We have built our presence in Australia with publishing and DUG Australia, our conference on developing unconventional gas, so we expect this will be a very strong partnership.”

Hart Energy personnel based in Perth, Melbourne, Houston, London and energy centers worldwide provide unique capabilities for covering emerging LNG markets. The company’s expertise spans the oil and natural gas industries (upstream, midstream and downstream). It strengthened its reporting on LNG technologies and markets with its 2014 acquisition of research and consulting firm Zeus Intelligence, publisher of the Zeus Liquefied Natural Gas Report, Zeus LNG Marine-Fueled Report, Zeus LNG Fueled-Vehicle Report and LNG database products.

"The entire Hart Energy team is proud to play a role in this extraordinary gathering,” said Michael Silber, managing director of Hart Energy Australasia. “The in-country editors of Oil and Gas Investor Australia look forward to documenting relevant LNG technologies and the unique contributions the Australian industry is bringing to this growing global marketplace.”
