DealerRater Announces Front-Runners for the 2015 Dealer of the Year Awards Program
Waltham, MA (PRWEB) November 19, 2014 -- DealerRater, the world’s premier car dealer review website, today announced dealership leaders to date for the 2015 Dealer of the Year Awards Program. Held annually, the program awards U.S. and Canadian dealerships for distinction in outstanding customer service based upon reviews of consumers’ experiences shared on DealerRater. Actual winners will be announced at the 2015 NADA Convention and Exposition, in San Francisco, January 22-25.
Also in January, DealerRater will introduce an expanded annual recognition program for top dealerships in the U.S. and Canada as determined by consumer ratings on DealerRater.com and DealerRater.ca. Recognized dealers for the 2014 calendar year will be announced in January 2015 and will complement the coveted Dealer of the Year awards program.

DealerRater’s Dealer of the Year awards are given each year to car dealerships that have the highest PowerScore™ in their brand category, both at the national and state/provincial levels. Each PowerScore is determined by using a Bayesian algorithm that considers the dealership’s average DealerRater star rating (calculated monthly) and the total number of reviews written about the dealership during the previous calendar year. The dealership must also have at least 25 new reviews written on DealerRater’s website during the previous calendar year and an average rating greater than 4.0, with 5.0 as the highest possible score.
