Picky Pint scans a beer list and shows ratings and recommendations to help find the perfect beer anywhere.
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) November 20, 2014
Available now for iOS and Android, Picky Pint is a new app that lets users easily choose their next beer at a bar or restaurant. Picky Pint scans a photo of a beer list to provide ratings, recommendations, and show more information about the beers found on that list.
Picky Pint lets users sort the beer list by criteria such as rating and bitterness, so users can choose their next drink smartly according to their taste and preferences, even when the beers on the list are completely new to them. Users can also tap on a beer name to get more details, like alcohol content and a more detailed description. New beer discovery is easier and more fun, no matter the user's previous beer experience.
Picky Pint also includes a bar code scanner, for getting ratings quickly at home or at the store before purchase.
Picky Pint lets users set their taste preference, and adjusts its recommendations automatically as it learns more about what they like to drink. Users can also mark their favorite beers to easily identify beers that they have tried and preferred in the past.
“Trevor and I created Picky Pint in order to make it easy to find a great beer, even when we didn't know anything about the ones available. The tsunami of great craft beers being released made this the perfect time to create this app.” said Mike Parks, co-creator of Picky Pint.
Picky Pint is now available on iOS and Android devices for free, or $2.99 for the Pro version of the app.
Picky Pint was developed by two college friends and software engineers from the Minneapolis suburbs.
