Andrews Osborne Academy Selected as Distribution Site for AFPD’s Annual Turkey Drive
Willoughby, Ohio (PRWEB) November 19, 2014 -- Andrews Osborne Academy was selected as the main distribution site in the Cleveland area for The Associated Food and Petroleum Dealers (AFPD) 5th annual Turkey Drive. AOA in conjunction with McKinley Outreach Center and Immaculate Conception Church Food Pantry will provide families in need with free turkeys, making their holidays a little brighter as a result.
Andrews Osborne Academy students will unload 480 turkeys in preparation for the drive. Student volunteers and AFPD members will hand out the turkeys for the Cleveland Turkey Drive from 11:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20 at Andrews Osborne Academy located at 38588 Mentor Avenue, Willoughby, OH 44094. “We are so pleased to have been selected to participate in such a worthwhile program” says Andrews Osborne Academy, Head of School, Larry Goodman. “Any way we can illustrate to our students the importance of giving back and helping those in need is a valuable lesson that goes beyond the classroom.”
