“Computer-aided graphic arts is a growing profession and a knowledge of the basic skills of the industry standard software Photoshop would be helpful for almost anyone to have,” said Russell Sarder, CEO of NetCom Learning.

Adobe Photoshop was created in 1988 by Thomas and John Knoll. It is now administered by Adobe Systems and has become the industry standard in computer graphics editing. The software application supports a variety of graphic file formats in addition to its own PSD and PSB formats. In 2003 Adobe introduced a new version of the application with term Creative Suite (CS) and then changed it to Creative Cloud in 2013 (CC). Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphics editor and includes the ability to create 3-dimensional objects. The version CS6 is the sixteenth version of the software and was released in April 2012. It comes with a new user interface, RGB codes, and a color ramp.
