Entry is Open for the DonorDrive Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum Scholarship
Cincinnati, Ohio (PRWEB) November 20, 2014 -- Every year, DonorDrive Peer-to-Peer Fundraising sends a deserving staffer from a North American nonprofit to the Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum Conference (formerly Run Walk Ride) though the DonorDrive Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum Scholarship. Paul Ghiz, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer for Global Cloud (makers of DonorDrive) feels the scholarship has had a big impact on the nonprofits that have received the honor. "All the nonprofits we've sent to this conference wouldn't have been able to go otherwise due to financial constraints. After attending, our recipients have put their learnings to great use. Not only have the donations for the organization's events increased, the overall quality of their events have improved, which will benefit their organization for years to come. 2015 will mark the fifth organization we've helped experience the Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum Conference."
The Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum Conference is the world's premier conference for peer-to-peer fundraising professionals with top-name speakers in the online fundraising space, focused breakout sessions and what's regarded as the industry's best networking opportunities. Speakers for 2015 include Ed Lord, Vice President of Strategic Services for DonorDrive and Jeromy Adams, creator of the Extra Life gaming-for-good event for DonorDrive client Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Extra Life raised almost $6,000,000 this year.
Scholarship application is open to staff of all registered U.S. and Canadian nonprofits that have never been to the conference before. The event is February 24-25, 2015 in Orlando and the scholarship covers transportation, hotel, a special dinner hosted by DonorDrive and admission to the conference. The deadline for entries is December 10. The full rules and restrictions are included on the entry form page.
