Announcement: GuitarControl.com releases “Cool Pentatonic Scale Trick - Lead Guitar Lesson on Pentatonic Scales”
(PRWEB) November 20, 2014 -- “When it comes to learning pentatonic’s there is only so much you need to learn”, says Johnson, “After a while you just start to soak up everything”. Claude demonstrates how to play the first position of the pentatonic scale as follows; 5th fret of the 6th string with first finger to the 8th fret with 4th finger, 5th fret of the 5th string with first finger to the 7th fret with 3rd finger and repeat this pattern for the 4th and 3rd strings and then repeat the pattern for the 6th string on the first and 2nd strings. The cool trick that Claude demonstrates is while playing licks in the first position of the pentatonic scale you can slide from any string into either previous pattern or the next pattern. By sliding into the positions it will give you additional ideas for licks and how to connect them together across the fret board. Claude demonstrates this concept using a variety of bluesy licks that utilize different techniques such as; bending, vibrato and hammer-on and pull-off’s. Guitar TAB’s are available for this easy beginner lead guitar lesson at GuitarControl.com.
