Tom McNeight Joins Vorstack Board of DirectorsTech Heavyweight With History of Building Great Companies to Help Grow Threat Intelligence Market

Thomas (Tom) McNeight has joined Vorstack as an Independent Board Member. Tom is a software and security industry pioneer with a history of senior executive leadership as well as being a director on multiple boards of successful startups.

Tom brings to Vorstack more than 30 years of software industry expertise, founded on a proven record of generating sales and creating strategic relationships as well as building operations and infrastructure. He was formerly the President and CEO of GuardedNet, Inc., a security information management (SIM) software company acquired by Micromuse, which was subsequently acquired by IBM. Prior to joining GuardedNet, he was a top executive of Internet Security Systems, Inc. (ISS) where he was responsible for building the field operations. During his tenure, ISS grew from approximately $700,000 to $190,000,000 in revenue and had a successful public offering.
Prior to ISS, Tom was the Vice President of Sales for TSW International, a provider of plant maintenance and management software, and prior to that, President and CEO of Aurum Software, a leading sales force automation company subsequently acquired by Baan International. Previous to Aurum Software, he had a 15-year career with Dun & Bradstreet Software (formerly Management Science America) rising from sales executive to Executive Vice President of the Americas, responsible for a $345 million business unit. Tom joined D&B Software after successful assignments at CNA Financial Services and the John H. Harland Company.
Tom is a limited partner of The Seraph Group, an angel investment consortium. He currently serves on the board of Digital Health Department, Inc. He has had a number of past board appointments, most recently Silver Tail Systems (acquired by EMC). Other boards of note include SecureWorks (acquired by Dell) and Extreme Logic (acquired by HP).
He is a former United States Army officer with service in Europe and Southeast Asia. Tom received his BA in Chemistry from Oklahoma State University and his MS in Management Science from Texas Christian University. Mr. McNeight resides in the Atlanta, Georgia area where he enjoys his family, leisure water activities and swinging a hammer for Putnam County’s Habitat for Humanity program.
