Radio Industry Veteran Joins CRN International’s Sales Organization in Detroit

CRN International, the radio marketing and promotions pioneer, has added a veteran radio industry sales professional to its award-winning team.

Leslie Heinemann, most recently with Radio Disney, brings 30 years of leadership and sales experience to CRN. She will be based in CRN’s Detroit office and assume the title of Director of Strategy and Development, reporting to CRN Managing Director of Strategy and Development, Robert O’Mara.

Heinemann will handle a wide range of territories and market segments for CRN, including but not limited to the automotive, restaurant and telecommunications industries. She will be working with companies nationwide.

At Radio Disney, Heinemann supervised sales, marketing, new business development, promotion and engineering functions in Detroit. In 2013, she achieved the highest Radio Disney honor of being one of six “MillionEars Club” award-winners.

She also has held sales and leadership roles with Citadel Communications, Interep and Katz Radio Group, where collectively she has been recognized with numerous sales awards and achievements.

“We couldn’t be more excited about adding another true professional to our sales organization,” said O’Mara.

Heinemann holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication for Radio/TV/Film/Marketing from Bowling Green State University.
